Company Profile and Culture

Liquid Adventures is a small, locally owned sea kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding company located in beautiful Seward, Alaska. Our areas of exploration are Resurrection Bay, Bear Glacier Lagoon, Aialik Bay, and Northwestern Fjord. We operate both single day and multi-day trips with access via water taxi, jet boat, and helicopter. All of our trips are small group sizes and focus on facilitating an amazing experience for our clients that is both safe and adventurous with the most experienced sea-kayaking guides in Seward.

Job Overview:

This position is the glue that holds the operations together on a day-to-day basis, and will play a central role in managing reservations, coordinating daily trip logistics, and overseeing office staff. This position is the face (and voice) of the company. The lead office staff assists clients with making reservations and checking them in for their excursions but also plays a pivotal role behind-the-scenes to make sure daily trip logistics run smoothly and oversee office staff. The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to multitask and handle many projects at once without missing details, and enjoy facilitating a fun, safe, and appropriate client experience.

Responsibilities Include:

Customer Service

Assist clients over the phone, on email, and in person by answering questions, making reservations, checking them in, and helping with whatever last minute requests come in
Promote and maintain a fun, seamless, and sincere client experience
Trip Logistics

Coordinate several aspects of each excursion on a day-to-day basis including helicopter and water-taxi schedules, day-trip and overnight meals and menus, and any additional details
Work with owners and guide manager to schedule single day and multi-day trips
Double check the schedule each day to confirm details
Managing Office Staff

Schedule office staff
Train, troubleshoot, and oversee office staff
Qualifications and Skills

Main Qualifications:

Highly organized and detail oriented
Skilled in problem solving and willing to learn
Hard worker, able to work long hours on and off your feet, while maintaining enthusiasm
Sense of humor
Enjoy and comfortable with customer service
Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Quickbooks preferred
