Water Waterfront Director
Responsibilities: The Waterfront Director is responsible for teaching the American Red Cross swimming curriculum, leading staff in-service trainings and emergency response drills, ensuring compliance with Eagle’s Nest operating procedures, and overseeing the safety of all waterfront activities and the equipment used. Other camp duties, such as being a cabin counselor, may be required.
Qualifications: At least 21 years old, with current CPR and Lifeguard certifications. Extensive guard experience, with leadership roles preferred. Experience teaching swim lessons required, with WSI certification strongly preferred.

Dates: Position is from May 31st to August 13th, 2018. In addition, some positions require attendance at a training clinic. Please see our website, www.enf.org, for clinic dates.
Who We Are: Eagle’s Nest Camp is a coed camp over 90 years old, located in the lush mountains of Western North Carolina. Eagle’s Nest provides a strong, nurturing community where campers ages 6-17 are treated with respect, honor and compassion. Campers have the opportunity to participate in 1-3 week long sessions which emphasize the wilderness, arts, and community. Our mission is experiential education for young people, promoting the natural world and the betterment of human character.
