Water Waterfront Director
The Waterfront Director is responsible for teaching swimming curriculum, leading staff in-service trainings and emergency response drills, ensuring compliance with Eagle’s Nest Camp operating procedures, and overseeing the safety of all waterfront activities and the equipment used. The Waterfront Director must be able to work well on a team and give/receive feedback graciously. Other camp duties, such as being a cabin counselor, may be required.
Required Qualifications: Minimum age of 21 years. Current CPR and Lifeguard certifications.
Preferred Qualifications: Extensive guard experience with leadership roles. Water Safety Instructor Certification. Experience teaching swim lessons.

Dates: Position is from May 30th to August 12th, 2019. In addition, some positions require attendance at a training clinic. Please see our website, www.enf.org, for clinic dates.
Who We Are: Eagle’s Nest Camp is a coed camp over 90 years old, located in the lush mountains of Western North Carolina. Eagle’s Nest Camp provides a joyful, nurturing community where campers finishing kindergarten – 11th grade are treated with respect and compassion. Campers have the opportunity to participate in 1-3 week long sessions which emphasize nature, arts, and community living. Our mission is experiential education for young people, promoting the natural world and the betterment of human character.
