Environment Seasonal Adventure Educator
Teach adventure education classes, such as high ropes courses, rock climbing, and group challenges to Eagle Bluff guests of all ages
Act as support staff for day camp activities for 1st-6th grade campers
General maintenance and oversight of teaching equipment
Other duties as assigned.
1 year teaching experience, any setting
Current CPR and First Aid certification by start date
Has up to date driver’s license
Comfortable in moving water and able to hike long distances
Computer, radio, and audio-visual equipment literacy
Willing to operate and participate in adventure activities such as: high ropes courses, rock wall, etc.
Ability to develop and foster relationships with coworkers, students, campers, and chaperones
Ability to pass a background check
1 year teaching experience in outdoor education or at Eagle Bluff
Expresses high degree of flexibility and has effective communication skills with people of all ages
Daily lunch provided
Optional: provided housing in a private staff wing of the dormitory, sharing a bathroom/suite with one other person and having a private bedroom. Access to a common living room, dining room, kitchen, storage space, and laundry. Food staples, and meals provided for the duration of the position.
